Reference: DRV-LEDC1512WND
Super Efficient, 1.5 -12 Volts wide input, self regulating LED driver. Uses batteries or wall adapters.
Super Efficient, 1.5 -12 Volts Wide Input LED driver. Operates for over 100 continuous hours using a single D cell or 30 hours from a single AA and will operate on input voltages of less than 1V!
This LED driver allows easy lighting on artwork, scale models and more! The small size footprint converter can be built directly into your work. Easy to use - power in / power out. Can be used to illuminate a string of LEDs wired in series (up to 15) with no noticeable decrease in light emission or parallel (up to 20).
The driver is self regulating, so if you are using a series of 3 or 10 LEDs, the output voltage will adjust accordingly up to the LED and driver maximums. In parallel mode the current will self regulate to the ratings of the LEDs and driver itself, using more current for 15 LEDs wired in parallel or less if using a smaller number of LEDs.
Use a power converter to incorporate into your solar lighting designs to be used when the the voltages are low. This converter will step it up to to a useful voltage! Depending on your design you may use the same converter to charge batteries for future storage! As long as your battery has 0.8 Volts or more you can use it!
